The Floating Crowbars
The Floating Crowbars are the new Dynamic
Duo of Celtic Music.
Featured are Fiddle Virtuoso Jay Kuchinsky and Guitarist Extraordinaire
Tim Rutter.
Jay plays the Banjo, Mandolin and Button Accordion
as well.
On Guitar is Tim Rutter who plays with finesse and
authority whether on acoustic or electric guitar or mandolin.
The group is strong whether wailing away on their beloved
Irish reels -
often done with a modern electrified intensity, or
on their vocal numbers which draw from the popular
Traditional inspired sounds of Great Big Sea, The Pogues
or Johnny Cash.
In their year together The Floating Crowbars have pleased
Festival, Party and Pub Crowds in the Edmonton Area.
